The SOS (Seek Out Support) Service provides intensive support to people over the age of 14 years at risk of suicide, who are willing to engage with a service. Your GP will refer you to an SOS Provider who will make contact with you within 24 hours of receiving the referral, and arrange the first consultation within 72 hours.SOS Providers include psychologists, clinical psychologists, social workers and mental health nurse practitioners - click for SOS brochure

Suicide Prevention Call back Service

Who can the service help? 

The Suicide Call Back Service is a 24-hour, nationwide service that provides telephone and online counselling to people 15 years and over who :

  • People who are suicidal

  • People caring for someone who is suicidal

  • People bereaved by suicide

  • Health professionals supporting people affected by suicide. 

The Suicide Call Back Service is especially suited to people who are geographically or emotionally isolated.
