Ability Links NSW is a way of connecting people with disability, their families and carers in the community.

Linkers work closely with people with disability, their families and carers to support them to fulfil their goals, hopes and dreams. Providers are the organisations that offer services to people with disability and the community. Linkers work for these Providers.

  • Provides supports & respite for carers of people with disability, chronic illness or aging.

  • The Mental health Respite offers carer support.

  • From 1st Oct 2016 one of the aims of mental health program is to assist carers and people they care for to access NDIS which rolls out in Central West 1 July 2017.

  • NDIS may fund services that have direct or indirect benefits for carers including; supports to assist people with disability to enjoy social and community interaction without relying solely on carer, assistance with tasks of daily living, supported employment services, training, supports that maintain a carers health & wellbeing.
